#016: Venus Transitioning

I’ve had a ton of inquiries in regards to the late and not-so-impressive, underwhelming autumn foliage season this year. I have an update and highlight some of the reasons behind our lackluster foliage season. Then, let’s talk about the “evening star,” Venus (really a planet!). Have you seen it in recent weeks? Is it hiding? The answer is “yes” as it prepares to transition to the morning sky for a while.

Only with special equipment (like at a professional planetarium) will Venus be visible since it’s too close to the sun right now. Here is one such image only a few days away from inferior conjunction.
