Now that we have the first two months of summer “in the books,” let’s examine them and see what we have looking ahead for the first few weeks of August.
We’re certainly starting August off on a cool, dry, and refreshing note. The mid-level smoke from the western forest fires have been pushed south, out of Ohio. Just look at how blue the skies look today!
As we look ahead to the first few weeks of August, let’s look at a teleconnection that has been effectively driving the boat this summer: the Pacific North American Oscillation.
